Aleksander Raczyński

Attorney at law. Partner and co-founder of the law firm. He manages the practice of business insurance law, real estate law and deals with Polish-French relations. He combines many years of scientific and didactic experience with practice gained during the judiciary training and work for one of the largest law firms in Wielkopolska (Polish voivodeship).

Assistant professor at the Department of Civil, Trade and Insurance Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He received a scholarship at Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (from the French government) and Université de Rennes. A winner of the 9th edition of the Ombudsman for the Insured’s Competition for the best doctoral, masters, bachelors and postgraduate dissertations on business and social insurance. A 1st degree award in the category of doctoral dissertations. In 2010 he received the Professor Tadeusz Sangowski Award: “Insurance debut”, granted by the Insurance and Risk Management Chamber of Commerce. 

Author of over 40 academic papers, including the monograph “Legal situation of the victim in civil liability insurance” (Sytuacja prawna poszkodowanego w ubezpieczeniu odpowiedzialności cywilnej), published in Warsaw in 2010 and co-author of the Commentary to the Civil Code, edited by M. Gutowski, published in Warsaw in 2016.

He speaks fluently and also works in English and French.
